Hargem Ltd., led by Ehud Harel, began its colored gemstone manufacturing and trading during the 1960’s. Its founder, Ben-Zion Harel, started with a production of high-value emeralds and at the same time developed proprietary gemstone cutting equipment and technology to improve the quality of his gemstone production in cut, proportions and yield.

After successfully implementing his vision to become a leading international group in Israel’s gemstone industry and together with several other Israeli gemstone manufacturers, Sarine Technologies Ltd. was established.
